Up2date 7.402 Launched

Hello! Astaro has released Up2Date 7.402, which is a stability release. This update adds support for newer Intel ethernet driver versions, adds to the amount of multipath rules that can be created, and optimizes some database tasks further. In addition, this release fixes some bugs and increases ACC integration/performance.

AxG V7.401 Released

With AxG V7.400 now populated to our user-base, we have a follow up Up2Date which addresses a few issues that did not make the GA version in time. This is a pure bugfix/stability release which strengthens the quality of your Astaro installation.

Announcing 7.400 General Availability Release!

After a hugely successful BETA program spanning several months and including thousands of comments and feedback, Astaro is proud to today release our Version 7.400, making it Generally Available for all Astaro Security, Mail, and Web Gateway Products. This release brings new features which will enhance the functionality and capabilities of your AxG installation. Most notably are the introduction of full WAN Link Balancing, HTTPS Filtering, Site-to-Site SSL VPN, and Cisco IPSec Client Support, along with dozens of other exciting new features.

Up2Date 7.306 Released: Appliance Ram Upgrades Available

Greetings! Astaro has released Up2Date Package 7.306 this morning, which is now being published to our Up2Date servers for distribution. This Up2Date is for a single purpose, which is designed to inform our Astaro Security Gateway appliance users about the upcoming 7.400 release and allow them to prepare by taking advantage of some new offerings for certain appliance models. Up2Date 7.305 Released

We have just started the release of Up2Date 7.305. This Up2Date is a stability/fix release which strengthens the reliability of the database system in AxG installations, adjusts the housekeeping tasks of the logging system, and provides a security fix. Note that this Up2Date requires a reboot once completed.

Up2Date 7.304 Released

Astaro has just now released Up2Date V7.304, which is designed to enhance the stability of the HTTP proxy and address a few issues with Authentication. This Up2Date does not require a reboot of the system, and is for all Astaro Gateway installations.

Up2Date 7.302 Released

Up2Date 7.302 is now available for download and installation. This Up2Date introduces a new Web Content Filter engine for faster and more accurate classifications. The new system offers 97 categories that have been fully integrated into WebAdmin and the previous categories have been imported.
To take full advantage of the new abilities of this Up2Date, administrators should review their Web Security categories after installation is complete.

Up2Date 7.301 Released

Up2Date 7.301 is available now for all AxG platforms. This release offers various tweaks, tuning, and fixes for the recently launched 7.300 Up2date, and streamlines the migration operations during the Up2Date process. Also added is further support for the upcoming Astaro Command Center 1.9 release.

Up2Date ASG V7.300 GA Release

I am pleased to announce the availability of the 7.300 Up2date by Astaro. After a successful beta period of over 4 weeks with ~650 feedback postings and community suggestions, this Up2date is now ready for download and installation. The new Up2date is for all Astaro Security & Web Gateways, along with Software and Virtual installations.
(Note: We will use the term "AxG" when referring to the entire family of Astaro Gateway Products)
This new release focuses on the three main areas of Mail Security, Authentication, and the UserPortal in addition to several dozen new features across other minor areas.
Also included in 7.300 is a completely redesigned database engine and framework, leading to massive performance improvements for message handling, greatly optimized reporting, and more.

The new Web Security product is available as hardware and virtual appliance. The Virtual appliance is now available for download.
