Due to a restart-issue with the Clamav UPX heap overflow-fix we reloaded Up2Date 6.302.
Please read on if you use the Open Source engine Anti-Virus engine and installed 6.302 already.
If you didn't install the Up2Date yet, your ASG will prefetch the Up2Date again and install the new one.
You can see the new one on the two notification messages you will get: first "Wrong MD5sum for local System Up2Date Package" and second a "Prefetched new System Up2Date Package(s)".

Up2Date 6.302 includes a security fix for a virus scan engine, a fix for the HTTP Proxy Report and a correction in the Chinese language file.
All ASG 420/425 appliance users should install the Up2Date as soon as possible, because it includes a fix for the sometimes not properly working Ethernet NICs 4-7.

Up2Date 6.301 introduces a Chinese translation of the WebAdmin and a new Marvell/Syskonnect driver (which is used in ASG420/425 appliances).
Beside that it fixes 21 bugs: HTTP-Proxy and its reporting, VPN, DNAT...
It definitely fixes also the double email problem.

The VMware images of ASG V6.202 were released.
They include all previous Up2Date packages and using now the (virtual) LSI Logic SCSI Adapter to increase disk performance.
If you just want to glance at ASG Virtual Appliance to get a first impression of what ASG really does, we recommend using the free VMware Player for its ease-of-use. However, if you are considering using ASG Virtual Appliance in a production environment, or if you would like to conduct performance or load testing with ASG, we recommend using VMware ESX Server, because its network performance is much better.

This Up2Date improves the support for the upcoming Astaro Command Center V1, fixes some vulnerabilities in the anti virus scan engine ClamAV and tunes the anti spam engine to improve the detection rate.
It also fixes six minor bugs form the Known Issue List (http://www.astaro.com/kb).
We added also a new button, to allow administrators to disable complex local passwords (sorry, we needed it for the Common Criteria Certification...). The new button Force complex passwords: is under System>>User Authentication.
This Up2Date includes VMware tools which are used by the new Astaro Virtual Appliance.
Install this Up2Date if you use the ClamAV anti virus scanner or when you plan to monitor or manage your ASG V6 device with ACC.
