Up2Date 7.005 released [Middle]

Up2Date 7.005 publishes the Backup Converter, Japanese and Chinese localization, WebAdmin Improvements, Performance Optimizations and of course some bug fixes...

Main topics in 7.005
* Backup Converter -- In order to migrate from existing V6 installations to V7 a Backup converter has been added. This converter will help by moving network and user definitions as well as a lot of other configuration options to V7. Because of many backend changes in V7 it is not possible to convert the V6 configuration completely. See WebAdmin >> Management >> Backup/Restore >> V6 backup import for more details.

* Localization -- The first part of the localization support is added in this release. Localization will cover WebAdmin, Executive Report and Daily Spam Digest and is available in Japanese and Chinese language.

* WebAdmin Improvements -- There are several WebAdmin improvements like a filter for the livelogs and the possibility to switch off spam thresholds in SMTP profiles. In addition you can now specifiy or edit the BATV secret and order policy routes by your needs.

* Performance Optimizations -- For several backend components memory usage and/or performance has been optimized which should lower the overall system resource usage for daily operation.

* ASG 320 NIC Ordering -- Some users of the ASG 320 already using V7 and who started with an early image may experience a mix up of the NIC ordering after applying Up2Date 7.004. The original state gets restored with this Up2Date.

* SMTP Proxy -- For SMTP Proxy a problem has been fixed which might stop the whole SMTP Proxy when scanning an email in a certain format. Also the Daily Spam Digest will now be sent out to internal users only.

* HTTP Proxy -- An issue in HTTP Proxy has been fixed which may slow down or stop HTTP Proxy when trying to deliver virus scanned webpages to the client. Also streaming downloads are now properly handled in the backend when a client disconnects a streaming session before it ends.
